Crafted of hard anodized aluminum, this two-piece Panini press includes a thick, nonstick pan that provides fast, even heat distribution. The heavy-duty press features a generous loop handle for adding pressure on top, leaving food with tasty, blackened grill marks. Working much like an outdoor grill only faster, it not only gives sandwiches a delicious crunch and an even browning, but the cookware also nicely grills meats, veggies, and fish. Its polished stainless-steel handle is secured to the pan by stainless-steel rivets for strength, rounded on the bottom for comfort, and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg when not in use. Both the lid’s handle and the pan’s long handle stay cool on the stovetop and won’t be harmed by an oven’s heat.
